Do you have the birdseye camera? The cameras seem to be generally be the downfall of these 3rd party infotainment systems.

 

No my car just have back camera, but this system comes with an extra camera that I can set up in the front and set it to fire in the screen when I want, (I going to put it when I make an stop), I think there is support for more cameras, it is very very customizable. Next thing for me is to wire this new camera and maybe update the reverse camera to a hd one because the screen has more resolution than the factory one and the image from the camera is good but do not match the full hd screen

 

I put in an aftermarket infotainment system, it looked good and the birdseye camera system worked, but the system itself had some flaws. I addressed these issues with the vendor and even asked for a refund, but got no answer after that. So it's sitting in a box in my garage. Had a lot of promise with this system, but in the end it didn't work out. I may plug it in sometime down the road and see if they have updated it, but for now I'll stick with the stock JBL system. I did change out the speakers and that did make a difference with the sound.

 

I tried to solve all the issues before aliexsprees return period expired because I knew that it was going to be an issue to get a refund after that, they offer support but for example if they have to send new wires like it was my case expect 2-3 weeks of waiting delivery. Aliexpress you can open a dispute like for several months I don’t know exactly.

 

Unfortunately, I didn't get mine through Aliexpress.

 

It looks good. Do all the steering wheel controls work with it? Does it boot up faster than the Toyota stereo with the stupid continue screen

 

Yes, steering wheel controls work, and it is fast booting, I don’t see a boot animation when I start the car only if I restart manually.
