Hi everyone... would anyone be able to tell me where the Intake Air Temperature sensor for a 2003 Rav4 would be? I've bought this mod thing from ebay... but don't know where would the IAT be... please include a picture or something if possible...

thanks a bunch...

Resistor

From what I have read, it's a just 4.7K ohm resistor that fakes the computer into thinking it's a constant 32°F out. If you have an ohm meter, see if you can measure it and verify that is the value. It's basically a 10 cent resistor from Radio Shack that they sell for $10.

It's actually 25°F here most days, so that would not benefit me too much.

The MAF sensor is what you are looking for...too bad the 4.2's had it built in the sensor where you are supposed to install that resistor and from the looks of it it is not that easy...

it is not like the older models that the air sensor is located independently...

i suggest you better get a CAI instead, good results will be noticed...with that a lot of people here could help you...

GOOD LUCK!
