I'm curious what the OEM ones (if any) look like at night.

Thats nice if you live in Palo Alto California, but if you live in winterland like I do even sidesteps without lights are no good.
But I liked it.
Here we are more into what winter tires to use. I just bought a set of Nokian winter tires. Besides sauna and rifles Finland are specialists in winter tires.

I lived in Minnesota before with harsh winters.
I remember puddle lights / side steps would've been really useful even in the winters.

Where can I get an interior light kit with foot lights?

Unfortunately the kit from ebay posted by Sienna does not seem to have the required cables and sockets to install the foot lights. Has anyone got any links to order foot lights installation kit for HV? (with the cables, the socket, an instruction manual)

I ordered some door sill lights from these (MIT Made In Taiwan) guys and they look OEM and supposedly are.


No instructions available but the interior light kit instructions from Toyota should be useful.

Yeah, I didn't buy those that I gave a link to. I bought these MIT illuminated door sills that I haven't installed yet:

Thanks for sharing that video. That's what I thought, I think thrte's gonna be an issue with Weathertech custom floor mats, they roll up on the sides and the edges might obstruct the white lighting towards the foot well. On the video, the floor mats are pretty much standard, they're all flat.
