Hmm well ive been considering the intrax springs for a while now, and i just recently noticed that their RAV4 kit no longer says 98-00, it now says 00-04 ( wha? :?: ) . Anyone know if the springs from a 4.2 will fit on a 4.1? I wrote to them, but have yet to get a response...

If they haven't response by now, forget it. Do the Eibach or the H&R.

From all the searching I've done Eibach springs can't even be gotten for the 4.1 anymore.

Eibach is still shipping their remaning stock of 4.1 springs, you just have to find them. not many stores will carry them.

H&R work just as well or even better. Eibach just lowers your RAV4 1". H&R lowers your RAV4.1, 1.25" front, 1.50" rear. At 210.00, not bad at all.

Actually i was planning on the H&R springs in the first place, its just that ive already used some of intrax's products, and i know how great they are, while ive never used a H&R product. Always go with a brand you can trust

but yeah, unless the 4.2 springs will fit on a 4.1, im just going to go with the H&R springs.

I just got a set of H&R springs but haven't installed them yet. Is there any adjustments to make or they just go on as they are?

I think you should take them to a pro to install them. I did mine and I kind of mess up. So if you like, take my advice, go to a pro.

If u install lowering springs in a rav u will eventually need to replace the shocks. You'll also need shortened front bump stops and a 4 wheel alignment about a week after the installation.

I have a brand new set of TRD springs I bought off ebay that i'm going to have installed soon... 8)

You see all this advice, if I were you, I'd take it. All the above happen to me and it was more expensive in the long run. I tried to cut corners and I just cut myself, in the wallet. So do it once, do it smart.

At one point, Teins were manufactoring drop springs for $300 that lowering your Rav 2.5". Espilir of Japan were selling adjustable coilovers for over $1,000. If you wanna go ridiculously low and 'slam' your ride to the ground, you're only other option would be airbags.
