Hey all, Brian from Dublin, Ireland here. I just bought my first motor, a 1994 Rav4. Hence, I've joined the forum!

Just wondering, is there a Haynes manual for the 1994 model? I only see a manual for the 1996-2002 models. If not, would the 96-02 manual be of any use to me? I doubt it, but just wanted to ask.

Kinda continuing on from that point, does anyone have any suggestions as to where I could get a manual of any type for the '94 model?

Cheers in advance!

First RAV4 went on sale in 1994. This was the case for most countries but not for USA. You should be fine with the Haynes manual as the 1994-1997 RAV4 doesn't have that much difference between them. The 1998-2000 RAV4 was a bigger update but even then things were pretty similar to the 1994-1997 RAV4 :)

As said 1996- essentially means 1994- as the US we late getting the RAV4 - infact I think the first one they got was soft top

I have the Haynes and to be honest I don't find it that usefull - it has little info on automatics saying simply they are too complicated for DIY - the engine management wiring diagram seems to skip all Automatic bits

I purchased a CD manual off e-bay for Toyotas and that was just packed full of useful information.
