Ok, sorry I can't help with the situation but I just have a question. Does everyone with a 4.1 have key #27? If so, why number the keys?

So the OEM roof racks on the 4.1s are numbered? The keys are for unlocking or what? I've read something like this in a previous thread but never really thought about asking what that was for cuz i didn't really understand ... not a car savvy :roll:

The factory rack is manufactured by Mont Blanc and replacement keys can be purchased from Perry Craft. Good luck. Hope this helps.

I just ordered a #27 key. Around $20, my local locksmith couldn't find the right blank, heck, I knew he wasn't very good when he couldn't even pick the lock. Anyway see info below.
