I just purchased a Rav4Ltd, and my husband has a new Highlander. The volume on my lane change is very low, can barely hear it. His is quite loud. I have done what I can to fix this, but cannot find anything in the book that tells you how to regulate the sound. Anyone know how to fix this, or is this the way it is? Inaudible.

LDA and turn signal chime volumes are not adjustable, been discussed before, unless the service department can do something about it, there's no option to increase the volume of either as there are for other alerts.

I think that’s a safety issue that needs to be fixed if you can’t hear the beep eventually you will have a car accident

FWIW, LDA beep was too loud on the '15, lots of complaints, it was reduced in MY2016, too bad they didn't make it adjustable.
