Test fitting my permanent lift spacers :D . With the upper ReadyLift spacers I am looking at around 5.25-5.5" of total lift. I can take out the ReadyLifts if I ever need for aroubd 3.75-4" of lift.

It will be roughly the same height as my temporary spacers, pictured here with about 300lb of gear (including the bike).

Got a Front Runner rack (grab on style), with an ARB awning.
I have recovery boards mounted to the underside of the rack, and we have a Dometic 50 in our trunk, plugged into the back outlet (with the dometic battery for backup).
Waiting on the lockdown to end so we can get our iKamper Mini installed!

Next on the list: light bar, ditch lights, skid plates.

Looks great, you may want to install the dynamic turn signals. Its a nice little mod for $50-55, and comes in a smoked black color. It would help you eliminate the last bit of chrome.
Thanks! How did I miss the dynamic turn signals? And payday too? 😁 Thanks for the tip!

Blacked out as much chrome and silver color as possible.
I love this look. I have the same color RAV4 as you and I really wish Toyota would stop doing chrome accents, especially on SUV's. You look is the way Toyota should have done it from the factory!

P.S. You and I served at the same time. Recognize the medal on your plate. I was Navy (Joined June 1990 and did numerous cruises and some time in country throughout the 90's), how about you?

Thanks! I agree. The silver or light gray really stands out under the bumpers and the rear door. No reason to be that way from factory. Once you do that the chrome is just out of place.

I was Navy too from 88 to 99. Got out as IT1. Did two tours in Japan (Midway and R.M. Davis-FFG), one in Naples, then split time at a clinic in Portsmouth, NH and the Comfort out of Baltimore at the time.

I was going to go back to Japan (Belleau Wood-Sasebo) in 99, but got offered a nice deal at a company in VA. So decided to make the move then.

Thanks! Nothing special yet. Just regular car washes. Might do the ceramic coating later this year.
Really? You get that awesome glass shine with just washes? What is the soap you use. That shine is fantastic.

I am moving the Rav to ceramic (WG DIY; not the same as pro) this summer because I want that glassy look.

I have only washed it twice with the Armor All Ultra Shine Wash and Wax. Before the stay at home orders I had been taking it to Mr. Car Wash. They have an unlimited wash club with 4 different levels. The nice thing about it is I can go as many times as I want, especially during the winter. So I normally swing by at least once a week, sometimes more. I have been doing since I got it last April and it keeps it always nice and shiny.

👍 Nice. I did my boot in San Diego, picked up a full ride to college ROTC, then was a SWO. Never did Japan though (thankfully). Did 2 PAC cruises and 1 Med cruise. Switched to Intel community after. I was in from 1990-2014. Good to meet ya!
