Has anyone appreciated just how nice it is to have both electrical and gasoline power for cases where electricity is very spotty like in Texas right now? I can't imagine how expensive charging up will be if one were buying wholesale 'juice' with prices spiking to $9 per kilowatt (normally $0.10/kw in Texas: Gas prices and electricity prices have risen ridiculously, record-breaking cold waves hit the United States-warning!-cnBeta.COM). Similarly, when gas prices fluctuate, the Prime and smooth out the financial shocks. When one only has to fill up their gas tank every 90 days, Prime owners redirect their attention from gas prices to electrical grid reliability.
