I have a 2019 Rav4 XLE with factory installed cross bars. I recently bought a Thule Motion XT Alpine and it turns out I am about a half inch too high to get out of my garage (whoops). Due to the length of box we need, we have limited options in box choice.
Does anyone know of any options for cross bars that have a lower height off the roof than the standard bars? I visited the local rack dealer and they thought the only option would be the Inno low profile mounts - but the bar is so thick it likely is the same height as the factor bars. Is there a way to mount bars to the rails or doors rather than the factory holes? Has anyone else come up with a solution for lower bars?
