Has anyone replaced their lower control arms because of rust? I never paid too much attention to them but the rust is starting to bother me. I don't have pictures of it yet but you can clearly see that it has spreaded all over arms specially the front ones.

I dont think it'd be a big deal, just lift the car, use a wirebrush and paint the arms using a good primer and black paint. Unless the rust damage has gone through the material, it must only be mild surface rust, not compromising the integrity of the arms much. Post a pic if you can

Don't worry about it, its just mild surface rust. Just go to Advance Auto and get some Rust Converter, wire-brush or sand the arms, wash the underside of the car let it dry, and spray the rust with Rust Converter, and after that dries and turns black (acting as a primer) spray over with Rust-O-Leum Stops-Rust black paint, and thats it, less than an hour to do that. I did the same to the front solid axle and chassis of a Ford Excursion that had the same problem.

Hope that helps,
