So just an update. I took my rav into toyota and they said they had a rav 4 with similar symtoms and hers was a caliber issue.

Is that it? You need to have someone actually look at your brakes, not just offer a guess. Brake calipers have pistons in them and they will stick if not properly cleaned and lubed / serviced and re-assembled properly.
