Our 2014 RAV4 LE has an all black interior with a beige headliner. The interior lights have been replaced with LED lamps, but the black-on-black door levers are still invisible. We tried silver carbon-fiber-look tape, but it doesn't adhere to the plastic levers.

We're considering painting them silver. What suggestions do you have?

You could drill a small hole in the top of the escutcheon, and mount a tiny LED there....

Thanks for the suggestions. I have ordered the chrome trim kiton eBay. I'll post photos when I've installed it.

I installed the door lever kit but the adhesive strips on the frames did not adhere to the plastic door interior surface. I added another layer of 3M exterior double-sided foam adhesive tape to overcome the problem that the single layer was thinner than the depth of the concave back of the frame. Even using a heat gun to make them stick only resulted in 2 of the 4 frames remaining in place.

What adhesive would you use to stick the aluminum frames to the plastic door interior surface?
