My path to buying a used 2009 RAV4 V6 Sport

If mine were to exhibit the problem after my extended warranty expires, I'd STILL pay whatever the costs to replace the transmission.

Would I enjoy paying that? No. Would I try to get it covered by some other means? Yes.

But it's still significantly cheaper than buying a new vehicle, PLUS (and more importantly) I'd get to continue driving a V6 RAV4.

Given that you can't buy anything today which matches the size/features/value/reliability/price combination of the V6 RAV4 to replace it, it would almost be a no-brainer to me to suck up the costs to be able to continue driving one.

Worth. Every. Penny.
