Can anybody ID me this turbo? Yes, I know, its very old. But hay, if you go into a friends garage and he says; "take it". Wouldn't you take it? Or you just feel too proud to take it.

I would like to know the information regarding A/R etc. Could it work on my RAV4?

I hope you're not asking me! I know absolutely nothing about turbos. Just wanted to show you some info that I found using Google.

Not at all June, I apreciate your information. Today, I'll give it a go on Google. Thank you.
I have never seen one that has an integral waste gate like that...
It doesn't have any tags or numbers on it?

I would say it looks like its off a diesel or industrial engine with a waste gate like that.
The research that I've made tells me that its an old turbo. From the Dodge Daytona era (?) In other words, its useless for todays technology. Even though it can be used, but I don't know. Maybe, but its a long shoot. All the rest of the parts are in place. Like the computer, HV oil pump, in the garage I have a HP gas pump, exhaust, etc. Number that I see on it are 42/36. I've also found this on you tube.

Why have I taken so long? When you have a mortgage, and your only son in collage, things get done...slowly.

Yeah life sure happens, kind of why I haven't been around much here for the past couple years.
looks like the video is pretty close to what you have.

Not all is lost you should be able to sell the turbo, the light truck turbos are still sot after. It looks in very good condition, use the money and buy another turbo more suitable to your engine.
