New Member & Trailer Hitch Question - 2025 Toyota RAV4 Limited Hybrid

I went with OEM for the extra clearance. Cost, including dealer installation, was $900. I could have installed the ECO hitch myself for about 1/2 that but you will have less clearance than the OEM and I believe the Curt is even lower. It would depend on your plans for the hitch. I use a hitch hauler and wanted the maximum amount of ground clearance. I drive on some gravel/dirt roads that could have dips/washouts. I also tend to keep my vehicles for a long time (currently also driving a 2000 Tundra) so I justified the $ by how long I will have the vehicle and also think it will be a positive if I ever decide to sell (assuming buyer wants a hitch receiver). You can have the OEM installed without the OEM wiring harness. I added the Curt 4-pin wiring harness myself.
