Visited my dealer yesterday, and he had just got back from the Toyota dealer demo day of the new RAV4. He said the grades would be XT3,4 and the RAV4-X will be called the T180. The high power deisel will only be available on the T180 and that will cost more than £25000
. They are officially on sale now, but dealer cars and brochures will not arrive until 6th Feb. The XT grades will be approx £600 more than the current models.
I asked for trade price for my 5door 2003 GX with 55000 miles. They said around £8000 due to the high milage. With average miles (26000) it would have been around £10000. My RAVS in perfect condition other than expected wear & tear, so I was a little disappointed with that price, especially considering they had a 3 door 4.1 on the forecourt for £6500.
My dilema is, I have maximum £9000 to spend and was hoping to get a new model, but with the £8000 trade in price it's beyond me. 15 x 6 month old XT-Rs are available on the Toyota network and they were pushing to sell me one of those. What should I do? :?
