So I'm installing General Grabbers AT2 on stock rim & OME LIFT. They bring out truck and it's rubbing bad on passenger side inner fender?
What gives? Or doesn't give. Guy tells me though that because I upsized that's the reason, barring any issue with that side inner fender, the dude tells me that because I went 235 instead of 215 that's the cause. Tires are same 70/16. So he's telling me that a 70 on one width tire is not a 70 on another width?

The "70" denotes the height of the sidewall (profile) in relation to the tread width (70% in your case).
So, for 215/70-16, the tread width is 215mm and the sidewall height [215*70%]=150.5mm.
Similarly, for 235/70-16, we have 235mm tread width and 164.5mm sidewall height.

By increasing the sidewall height, the overall diameter of the tire also increased giving you these rubbing issues.
Check these threads for ideas on dealing with the "lump" on the lower side of the fender splash guard:

Thanks Mike, will look into this. They hammered inner fender in a bit, now it's only rubbing on almost full turn lock, which isn't bad.

Hey I was thinking about getting grabbers. How do you like the ride? Can you get some more shots of the car with the tire turned out? I would like to see how it looks.

No spacers, but thinking about it. Had rubbing issues, that are mostly sorted, only small bit of rubbing in almost full turn. Not sure if spacers would make it better or worse though
