A couple of days ago my DCM seems to have stopped receiving any sort of signal. The signal strength bar is constantly at zero bars now. Before, it would usually have a few bars, or even full bars, while I was driving. Has anyone had this happen for an extended period of time like this? Might I have an issue with the DCM that needs to be addressed? Thanks!

You'll likely have to contact Toyota to get it working again, disconnecting the 12 volt battery and reconnecting after a few minutes might also fix it.

I had this problem also. I ran an OBD2 scan with my BlueDriver scanner and came up with the Telematics code "B15A8-04. I googled this code and low and behold found a TECH-TIP on the NHTSA website about this very problem with 2020 RAV4's. I have attached this document. I followed the procedure and now I have DCM working again and the Toyota App works now.

Related (I think) to this - what is the difference between the DCM bars and the LTE bars right next to it in the photo? Are the LTE bars simply forwarding my cell phone strength for display and the DCM bars are for the built-in cellular connection?

Thanks in advance!

The LTE bars will be what your phone reports is the signal it is getting with whatever your phone carrier is. The DCM bars is the signal it is getting, and for a 2020 I believe that is the AT&T network. If you also have AT&T with your phone, I suspect they may be similar indications.

Same here -- worked for me.
It did take about 18~20 for the information to 're-sync' itself.
You have to be patient with it.
