That 29 PSI seems like it is low to me at 3K RPMs...though it does say "or higher."

But they have dynamic pumps. Maybe 30psi is all it needs all the way out to redline?

When someone checked it with actual gauge it was lower, as would be expected from a 0w16 with a cst@100c of 7 or so.

With dynamic pump I don't think viscosity/oil temp/rpm defines oil pressure like it does on older direct drive oil pumps.

It is an electric relief valve to limit the pressure. The system won’t create pressure where there wasn’t any.

Just a relief valve ?? Not sure they even made such. I could be wrong, please verify.

For example, maybe a good Denso filter would actually have LOWER numbers because the oil is actually passing through the filter media.

If the filter gave a little resistence (which it does), wouldn't the dynamic pump just adjust accordingly?
