I was hoping to get some information from those have purchased/installed Northwoods Performance Kits.
I have a Gen3 2012 Rav4 V6, where the front suspension needs to be replaced, (struts leaking). I decided since I'm going to replace the front struts, I might as well look into aftermarket parts that could provide a lift as well.
Northwoods recently put out a kit with B8 shocks that purport to have 2'' of lift. Do you guys think there are any major cons to putting that kit on this vehicle? (Other than the obvious increased risk of rollovers turning at higher speeds). I'm not a car person at all, so any advice, even the basic stuff, is much appreciated!
On the page it mentions that the B8 kit 'levels' the stance of the vehicle. What's everyone's opinion on this? Does it drastically reduce front visibility? Is it worth the extra 1/2 inch of space?
I generally plan to use / already use this vehicle for softroading, reaching trailheads, and backcountry camping; so looking for improvements that will overall help with accessing those types of locations.
