My couple of concerns are the well documented shudder
If anyone knows how to fix either of these issues I would greatly appreciate the information.
Since the shudder is due to the change of the CV axle angle and the subsequent binding of the CV joints, the only solution is is reduce the CV axle angle, i.e take the lift off.

If the CV joints continue to bind at extreme angles, they will eventually be destroyed, IMO.
 
a very hard to heard low humming sound which could by tire noise
What kind of tires do you have? Did you replace them recently, perhaps when you did the lift?

My OEM tires, Michelin Primacy AS, made no noticeable sound (I have a hybrid which can be dead quiet in EV mode).

Recently I replaced them with Pirelli Scorpion WeatherActive tires so now I hear a faint low frequency rumble that is hard to describe, perhaps the sound of a passenger airliner at cruise altitude.
