Oil Filter Options

I was just changing the oil in my 21' XLE and I thought others may benefit from this information. I use Wix oil filters and I found two options that fit nicely. The 51394 is about 2.98" tall and the 57145 is about 3.4" tall (either one will fit).

Car Care Nut on YouTube has indicated that the electrically controlled oil pump and VVT mechanism in our 5th gen engines are sensitive to oil flow rate.

This has every potential of voiding the warranty should the engine have a failure due to oil depravation. This is not something I want to risk.
