I heard someone talking about always using stock toyota filters because they have an anti-drain valve (or something to that effect) so that oil is always available to the engine when you start it. They indicated that most filters don't have this design. Just wondering if this is accurate or not...if it is, sounds like it would be wise to keep with the stock filters.

There is no such thing as anti-drain valve. There's a one way valve in some of the oil filters that prevent the backflow of oil in some cases and maintain your oil pressure.

As with the stock oil filters with this option? I really can't tell you. You might have to ask Kelly aka "RAVMAN" since he works for Toyota.
