So I changed my spark plugs and found oil in two of my spark plug compartments. Significant oil that my socket was half drenched !!!

My car smokes at startup so may be this is the reason if I fix the spark plug hose seals???
I know valve stem seals is one of the answer but I am hoping for a new light at the end of the tunnel. LOL !

Just replace all the cam cover seals. There is a seal around the spark plug tube that is leaking. If oil was getting past the spark plug then combustion pressure would be getting past the plug. All normal in an old ohc engine.

Yes, what he said. I had the same problem on our Nissan Altima. Replacing the valve cover gasket solved the problem. Specifically the one with the round spark plug hole gaskets in the middle.
