Took wifes 2013 to Toyota for the 50k oil change/inspection back in the beginning of June and after I noticed oil spots on drive way right after.. thought maybe they spilled some oil or something.. finall had some time to investigate..

there seems to he oil leaking out of what I assume is the Oil filer housing... I am taking it back to the dealership tomorrow to have to have a look, on their dime..

thoughts??

the oil is dripping from here...

If the housing and metal plug are both tight, they possibly forgot to replace the o-rings.

Could be filter housing not tight, a cracked plastic filter housing, or damaged - pinched O-ring.

Update...

Was initially told the orings and housing were fine. They put it on the lift it again and I showed them where it was leaking at. Thankfully, it already started getting the oil build up so they seen it. They are replacing the filter housing and cleaning my driveway..
