Although ive read somewhere on here how to tension the belt no ones saying how the hell do you get to the bolts n which bolts are they ??
Can anyone provide a pic/diagram of which bolts need loosening plz ... thanks Dave

It's a big pain -- I have to use various combinations of 3/8 in. breaker bars, etc. with various length _six-point_ (not 12) sockets. It's easy to strip the heads of those things! I probably used a "John Wayne" screwdriver to apply the tension via the body of the pump. All done from underneath the vehicle with the right front tire removed. Jack/support the vehicle redundantly and very carefully! Safety first -- let a pro do it when in doubt.

It was definitely a PITA! But I do not anything special about the tools.

so to recap just wheel removed then is there a inner arch liner to remove for access or not ?
I know abt the under cowl but is that all i remove for max access to pump ??...
