Hi guys

Im in need of help. Im having a problem with my rav4. I had it tested at Toyota and they said that the fuel pressure pump is not working properly. I have scoured 100's of diagrams and part books for this part but I cannot seem to find it anywhere. If someone can please assist me in positively identifying the part I will be grateful! It is located just below the air filter. It is bolted onto the carburetor. I have attached pictures to help with reference.

Model: Rav4 J
year: 2000
VIN: JTEHH20V400021013
Engine #: 4HT4397
Model Code: ACA21R-AWPNKW

Thanks!

Can't be absolutely sure, but this is a solid guess:
Part number: #23270-28040 DAMPER ASSY, FUEL PRESSURE PULSATION

Also, wrong forum!

All ACA2** chassis numbers belong to the second generation.
The VIN and model number you provided point to a European spec Rav4.
The correct part number then would be: #23270-28020 DAMPER ASSY, FUEL PRESSURE PULSATION

The part number I posted previously (and according to your pictures most likely is on your Rav) is linked to Japanese spec ("J") Rav4s of the same year / generation.

EDIT: Maybe there was an engine transplant sometime in your vehicle's history.
