new member here. Purchased a 2008 Rav4 for an extra car for my wife to drive. Had to do a little work on the front end and it seems fine. My question is how could I find information about past recalls to be sure my vehicle is in top shape? How would I ensure I receive future recall notices? I purchased it from a Honda dealer.
Thanks.

Welcome! You can go to www.toyotaowners.com, register, enter the vehicle's VIN, and then go to the maintenance section. That will have a list of all work done by Toyota dealers, and the previous owner could have listed work done by themselves or independent shops. The website also lists any recalls for your RAV.

You could also take the VIN to any Toyota dealer and get the information. If your 2008 has the 2.4l four cylinder engine check the oil every week without fail. They can use as much as a quart every 1000 miles.
