My factory horn no longer works and is totally corroded. I bought a PIAA dual horn (500 and 600hz, 115 decibel) as a replacement for about the same price that a Toyota dealership wanted for an OEM horn. Since there is only one factory mount for a single horn, does anyone know of a good place to mount the second horn? Also, am I at risk of blowing the 15 amp fuse that was set up for only one factory horn? I am worried that the new horns will draw too much power, thus blowing the fuse, but I heard that it can be dangerous to upgrade to a 20 amp fuse. Thanks for your consideration!

I undertook the same project on my 1996 model quite a few years back (this explains the poor photo quality :? )

Never did find a GREAT place to mount the horn. I always planned on eventually monting them to the bottom of the hood/bonnet... so they are aimed directly out the front.

I first installed these (removed the front bumper for installation) --->

...but was NOT happy with the sound.

I replaced them with the FIAAM air horn --->

I wired the air horn directly off the STOCK horn wiring. The 15amp fuse has never had a problem with the load :D
