It's been awhile and I still haven't got to any audio upgrades for my '05 Rav. Work and school own me. I have a fear of DIY projects, but this is the only way to save money for me to learn.

Here's my list of plans:

Scion 6 CD/MP3 Changer
Front: 6.5" components. Probably Infinity. I don't know what fits yet.
Rear: I have a set of Crystal Mobile Audio 5.25" components.
Sound dampening the 5 doors.
Possibly install an amp to power the speakers.

Do you think I should just put the components I already have up front?

My fears:
No audio installation experience.
Getting tweeters to fit.
Don't know where to mount the crossovers.
Breaking something.

I just had this installed and everything works (so far):

2 6.5 Infinity Kappas up front
4-way Alpine Amp (100W x 2) - 100 Watts to power each speaker.

Sounds AMAZING. I shifted a little sound to the back because the Infinitys were so powerful, I let the back speakers take a little of the load. As for the tweeters, the Infinitys I have already have tweeters, so the ones in my Rav4 S don't work. No worries, it sounds amazing.

Works great - just do NOT have Best Buy do your install. Shoddy job putting my car back together
