My 1998 RAV 4 is having it"s MOT tomorrow and on prechecking the lights I discovered the front left parking light bulb has blown. Now I have tried for over an hour, puzzling how to remove the bulb holder! Do I have to remove the whole front Headlight assembly to replace the parking light bulb or can it be done from under the bonnet?
If anyone knows, please let me know ASAP.
Thanks

If you mean the sidelight and indicator located in the bumper, there is a Philips/Pozi screw in one end, unscrew it and the entire light will pull out from that end and unclip. Then the bulb holder just turns about 1/2 a turn to unclip. This should make more sense when you doing it, I hope.

Oh, the sidelight bulb is a W5W

If you cannot replace the bulb the shop should be able to do so, but of course you will have you pay for them to do it. Then if all else is OK they will issue the MOT Pass certificate.
