Today is the first day of Spring :D ... I can't wait for the snow to melt and put on my aftermarket wheels again. If you have aftermarket wheels on your 4.3 RAV4, post some pics! Here is a pic of mine last spring ...

Lift I'm still debating. I don't dislike the current height but 1" or so wouldn't hurt. It may happen anyways because I am changing the rear springs atleast for a better spring rate along w/ a set of Firestone bags for extra adjustability with towing or heavier loads in the rear. I'll give those H&R Springs a look. I do have a Skid Plate Guys skid plate and diff protector on there for a little extra peace of Mlmind if I do happen to run over something and it gets a little too close. I'm a Bilstein fan. I have them on my Bronco and I love them. They will definitely be in the future. Is it correct that Gen 4.4 shocks work on the 4.3? The Rav currently only has just over 40,000 original miles so everything in the suspension is actually in great order. Barely driven West Coast Car.

Mine is the opposite with 140k of NE living so the original suspension was SHOT. Yes 4.4 shocks/struts fit and work fine, same chassis. I used B6 front struts (B8 were NA at the time plus they have a built in 1" lift) and B8 rear shocks. The shocks came with a little spring seat spacer for the 1" lift but I like the stance it has with just the springs.

Alright y'all. I've hit the analysis paralysis stage and could really use some second opinions on the following wheels!

For context, this is for a 2012 Base V6 in Black Forest Pearl. I plan to keep my stock size all-season tires for a while since they are fairly new, but am open to a bigger size and/or A/T tires down the road. Part of me feels like the LP1s go better with A/T tires, whereas the others could look good with both. I also think the A/T tire look is a starting to get a little cliché at this point so maybe I should shoot for something a bit less "rally" like the Bully or EDR9?

LP Aventure LP1 (17x7.5 -35mm)

KMC KM708 (17x8 -38mm)

Enkei EDR9 (17x8 -38mm)

New to this forum. Here's my new to me 2011 RAV4 Sport V6 I'm putting together as a light trail build. 16"x8" 0 offset Steel Envy Wheels wrapped in Yokohama Geolandar AT G015's 225/75/16 Using hub centric rings and slight rub on front wheel well at full turn (tires have some meat on them) View attachment 196975 View attachment 196976 View attachment 196977
This is amazing, I have been trying to find this rim to fit my 2010 rav4. i always read that its hard to get a hubcentric ring on a steel. are these a little better at fitting the ring?
