The amount of amps is related to the he wiring behind the plug and the fuse in the box (that protects the wires from overload).
My Limited has a normal plug in the trunk area, from factory. It sounds like that version in the OP picture is popular in Australia (and NZ?).
True, all of the parts are related, and you want the fuse to be the weakest link.
The standard DC outlets in the United States were originally designed to power a cigarette lighter in cars. Using it as a supply for 12 volt accessories came later. ISO 4165 was originally designed to supply DC power to accessories in military vehicles. In most cases, they are slightly different things that do the same job equally well.
