Hello everyone, I just purchased a 2013 Rav4 and also have a 2011 Rav4 that we bought brand new and really like. The reason we like our Rav4's is because we live out in the country in northern Michigan on a dirt road and the awd is awesome for our area in the winter months and close to 30 mpg is a added bonus. Unfortunately living on a dirt road has it's disadvantages as you can see by the pictures of the 2013 we just bought. I am worried about how this design will hold up on our back road am just wondering if there is a good fix like maybe undercoating the bottom of the rockers? I have a set of mudflaps on order and I hope that will help some also. I definitely do not want to add any kind of coating and make matters worse. Also don't want to void my rust through warranty. All input welcomed. Thanks all
