With the tire pressure monitors, are there any complications when you rotate the tires?
Is there any kind of reset needed?

Any other problems with the system?

Thanks.

Turn the ignition switch to the ON position. Press the tire reset button and hold it down until the tire warning light blinks 3 times. Those instructions are from the owners manual for a 2004.

I know the manual says snow and ice may cause a false warning light on the tire pressure, but geeze. The past couple snow days I didn't even bother to reset it because it kept coming back on when I did.

Don't be concerned

Don't be concerned, gamma. I think it is an '04 & '05 thing. I don't know that there were tire monitors before those model years. I think it was an upgrade the same year the 2.4 liter engine was used, along with the all-red taillight lenses.

In any case, if you are not seeing a low tire-pressure warning on your dash, you should be OK!
