OK, this is my first time posting great site. Here's my problem I did a search and couldn't find the answer.

I was splicing the acc wirebehind the radio and the plyers was on the wire and it touch the radio. it sparked and the radio when out inaddition to the clock. I checked all the fuse locations and can not find it. looked under the hood all 3 locations, under the driver side and the passenger and no radio fuse.

Does the 98 Rav4 have a fuse thats link to the radio?
I hope I did not short the radio out. I know most cars come with a fuse proctection system to protect the radio.

It's a 98 Rav4 L

Any advise or have would be greatly appreciated. :cry:

Have you checked the INSIDE (left of steering wheel) fuses again?

Other fuses in this inside box are -

TAIL = tail lights
DEF-I/UP = defogger (not sure?)
GAUGE = Instrument Panel
TURN = turn signals
CIG & RAD = cigaretter lighter and stereo
IGN = ignition (I think?)
ECU = electronic control unit
WIPER = wiper
SRS = air bags
OBD = on board diagnostics
STOP = brake lights

Sounds like the 10amp fuse under the hood by the air filter box which also controls the interior lights (clock, radio and other things). I blew this one when changing the dome light and knocked out the clock and radio.
