Having the same issue ('22 XLE) after a new windshield was installed 3 weeks ago. It only started raining here in Calgary yesterday (after a 7-8 week drought) and I immediately noticed that rain sensing was inoperable. Called GlassMaster and the manager told me that after a new windshield is installed the sensing function is sometimes deactivated - and may need to be reactivated. A cursory search reveals not such activation functionality - at least in terms of what can be done w/o high level tools a shop may have. Maybe there is and I am not aware. Anyone know more about this? Anyway, the manager told me that if I can't sort it to come by the shop and they will get to the bottom of it.

Did they put in the right windshield? i.e. is there an aperture for the rain sensor to look through in the masking at the top?

I saw that above in this thread. I'll be having a look for certain.

I was able to figure out that when I press the rain sensor housing slightly up against the windshield, the technology immediately begins to work - albeit for a short time, probably the amount of time it takes for the adhesion to again separate itself from the windshield. What a drag.

Spoke to the shop manager and they will see me next Wednesday to diagnose.
