Random slip indicator warning light

Recently I've purchased a 2016 Rav4 XLE Hybrid from a Toyota dealership. It's a certified pre-owned car with one previous owner and previous fender bender (right side bumper). The day after I got the car, I noticed that my slip indicator light flickered a few times as I was breaking at a stop light. Since then, it's done it probably ten or fifteen more times (had this car for about 3 weeks now). I'm glad that the TRAC system is working, but every time the light has come on, the roads have been completely dry. I've been reading a few posts from around the internet, and it seems like many people notice a significant change in their speed or even their wheel jerking when the slip indicator light turns on. However, I haven't noticed any sort of change in how the car is braking. It's not a huge deal, but it's just frustrating because I don't understand why this is happening.
The vehicle failed its emissions test because it had a new battery, so I brought it back to get reinspected. While I was there, I asked the mechanic to check on the light, but they said there were no codes that they could find because the light wasn't currently on.
Does anybody know why this is happening? As I said in the title, it comes on seemingly randomly, and ALWAYS when I'm braking at a stop light. I live in a fairly large city, so this is a common occurrence for me. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

I have a 2017 Hybrid and the only time mine comes on is when I'm braking on bumpy or uneven surfaces. Most likely due to wheel speed differences.
km95 - I have the same car that you do and have experienced the light coming on only during the scenario that the previous poster added: braking on bumpy roads. If you are on smooth roads when this happens then it may be worth a trip to the dealer. You want to know that the traction control is working properly so that it comes on when you really need it. Good luck.

Maybe I can help!

My wife decided to crunch our brand new rav against the rear bumper of an ambulance... It looked like superficial damage to me. It was weeks before we could get the car in to the shop but the traction control light went off quite often (not as much as you're describing though) but simple stuff like the drainage grate in the parking garage at work (that I had run over dozens of times in the few weeks we owned the car before the accident). Turns out there was some pretty substantial damage to the suspension that was very apparent when they did a wheel alignment.

After everything was fixed up it's back to normal and the traction control light only comes on in the usual scenarios (detailed by the other two posts)
