Hello,
How do we fix or what needs to be done for Toyota RAV4 2006 V6 timing belt cover leak. I see oil is leaking and don’t know how should i go about fixing it
How to reseal it .Do i need to take out the whole timing cover or we can reseal it from outside

From the pics id doesn't appear that there is enough of whatever you have pictured to be concerned about, especially with a 14 year old RAV4. Looks like years of residue accumulation with a very small amount of oil included - - unless I am missing something. Apparently would be more of a problem to repair than it would be worth, unless there is a larger leak than is evident;

If you have a engine leak it will be expensive to fix since repairs are very labour intensive. Are you sure about the source? It maybe coming from some other place. Get a mechanic to check first to give you and idea what it cost to repair.
