Hi, I wonder if you can help? I have had my 2006 model for 6 years and love it. I tried to lock it using the key fob last night and it took ages to engage. I couldn't disengage it this morning and ended up using the key. I woke up the entire street with the alarm. I managed to get the alarm stopped by starting the engine. Tried 2 keys so not a problem there. Immobiliser worked again on fob when I got to work. Any ideas?

How often do you change the batteries in your key fobs? I would change one key fob battery and see how that goes.

If you change the battery don't touch it with your fingers as that can shorten the battery life believe it or not.

Thanks. I'll try that tonight. This happened before though and changing battery didn't help. It's intermittent

Hi, batteries changed in both keys. No difference. Fob works only when pointed at a specific point near the fuel cap. I'd appreciate any advice. Thanks
