I'm thinking of replacing my '17 Tacoma TRD Sport 4WD double cab long bed with a '19 (possibly wait until '20) RAV4 hybrid AWD. My primary reason is to have smaller carbon and physical footprints, although I'm also interested in some of the safety features available on the RAV that I don't have on my Tacoma.
Can anyone on the forum offer their input on the comparative capabilities of the two vehicles in winter driving conditions (snow / ice / black ice), all other things (tires, etc.) equal? I do a lot of winter-time driving in tough conditions and don't want to give up the Tacoma's exceptional winter road worthiness for something significantly less capable.
Also (and I know I could research the answer to this question), are all the RAV4's enhanced safety features switchable?
