RAV4 Prime stops charging and gives error message

Our Rav4 Prime periodically quits charging and displays a message on dashboard saying something like Charging stopped, check charging source. If I unplug the charger and plug it back in, it resumes charging normally.
I should mention that almost always when I plug it in, it doesn't start charging and the green light doesn't come on. I have to unplug it and plug it back in, then green light comes on and it starts charging.

Is this with your 110v charger that came with the car? I would inspect the plug receptacle in any case. My wires were loose in mine and needed tighten. Was arcing and was melting the rear side of the receptacle from drawing too much current

How can you have loose wires? The charging cable that came with the RAV4P has no loose wires. Can you show us some pictures so I know what you are talking about?
As you can see I noticed a smoke colored plug first which made me curious so I investigated
Correct, the electrician didn’t make sure the terminals were tight. I have found that a lot in various homes. The other electrician said it is because they warm and cool over the lifetime and expansion and contraction loosens them over time.
