I prefer Rav4 because I have a 1991 4Runner with 240000 miles on it, and it's in great shape. I hope my 08 Rav4 does the same.

The other concern I have about Hyundai is their lack of dealerships... Toyota is everywhere, but Hyundai dealerships are few and far between. Makes me concerned about prompt repairs on a trip, etc...

Also, my personal problem is the local dealership is pretty run-down (they're an "imports" dealership, not specifically Hyundai), I don't think it'd be as pleasant to go there for servicing versus the local Toyota dealership.

Once you've purchased, that stuff matters.

Good point! Theres only one dealer in my area. They only sell a few Hyundais mixed with Saturn's and Buick's, not to mention the place looks run down. I'm glad I bought my Rav.
