try to follow the ff steps:
1. open the rear door then on the left hand side unscrew the bolts that are holding the rear bumper.
2. if you have a left side tire trim remove that.
3. if you have a mudguard take that off, too.
4. if you dont have any of the ff items listed in steps 1 & 2 just unscrew some screws that are behind the tire which are holding the bumber, other than that you can take out your rear bumper already.
awesome thanks, i removed it and with a heat gun it just pushed back out, im a happy chappy, now to get the thing back on. luckily the womans bumper was already split she said dont worry about the insurance or damage she isnt worried..

well I've found a second screw or a plug just above the oil pan which cant be a drain plug
or is it just a screw attaching a bracket or a mount to the block
