I have question about rear defroster Rav 4 XLE 2015. When temperature outside is around 32 degree Fahrenheit like 28- 34 it's shut off automatically after approx. 15 minutes but when outside is much colder it does not shut off automatically. Is it normal? Can somebody answer

You haven't completed your profile to include your location, but the US model turns off after approx. 15 minutes as stated in the 2015 .pdf owner's manual.

Vehicles with a manual air conditioning system
On/off
The defoggers will automatically
turn off after approximately 15 minutes.

I don't recall my '15 Limited staying on more than temporarily, same for my 16" Hybrid, although I've never timed either, they just shut off by themselves and I have to turn em back on if needed. My point is they're designed to turn of automatically, the outside mirror heaters are also on when the rear defogger is on, mirrors will get too hot if they stayed on, there's a warning in the manual about not touching the mirrors when the rear defogger is on. I suppose it's possible you have a cold weather version like for Canada that has different features too.
