Hi Guys
After a 2 week holiday i went to start my 2006 diesel rav4 and the check 4wd, check abs and check braking system lights came up. Upon hard braking i noticed that the abs was not functioning. A trip to the local mechanic when we hooked up to a laptop confirmed a rear right wheel sensor malfunction. Mechanic said its ok to drive in with this sensor malfunction. While engagaing first gear and turning all the way uphill the transmission vibrates and makes a grinding noise. Is this related to the speed sensor malfunction? Or there is some issue with steering/ 4wd system ?Is it ok to drive the car until i get the replacement?

We don't have diesel model RAVs in NA, so yours might be different than ours. However, I wouldn't recommend driving it too much with a vibration and grinding noise.
