Did you update the Toyota app? There was an update on June 19th.
Did you just call generic toyota cs number or a specific group/division or anything like that? Plan to call next time i wfh since I dont really end up with many calls.So I just spent the past 45 minutes (mostly on hold) on the phone with Toyota CS reporting my non-functional remote app. I'm supposed to get a call back from a telematics specialist. I've been through this before and it was a big waste of time.
Update: Telematics specialist called me. I just repeated the same information that I provided the first time around. I was promised another call in 1-2 business days. Whoopee!
Another update (about 24 hours later): App started working again. I have no clue why.
Uninstalling the app never helped me. I see you have a 2019. I thought the app issues were only a problem for the 2020s?I've just uninstalled the App A G A I N
It is a steaming pile of fail. I feel sorry for whoever the call center workers are and their employer, having to work for Toyota and answer phones with Toyota customers on the other end. Truly a lose lose scenario.
