I've got a sunroof problem. Something is on the rails blocking it, I think. It was letting me vent it, but now that won't even work and the moonroof is slightly crooked and won't close entirely. Do I need to remove the headliner I guess? Is there a guide somewhere for this so I can clear the rails and avoid rain pouring into my car? Thanks for any help!

Thanks for the advice. Right now I don't think that will work. Pushing it to the tilt up position is what caused it to get crooked anyway. It won't move forward or backward and it is cracked open about a quarter of an inch.

This was a weird problem to begin with. 5 or 6 weeks ago we were on a road trip and I had the sunroof open while we were in a visitor center. I closed it and drove for about 10 minutes and then tried opening it again. It would only go half way. Weird... We did our thing and left. I tried opening it the next day and it wouldn't open at all. It would vent just fine, but wouldn't slide open. I've been fine with the vent, but I try opening it from time to time to see if something caught on the rail bounces out or something. So this morning I try it and it doesn't work. I try venting it and it goes a little crooked and stops then won't close again.

I've got an appointment tomorrow morning at the dealership. I would try pulling down the headliner a bit, but I'm just not in the mood to deal with that and then find out there isn't anything I can really do. I'd rather have someone who knows how to do it properly work on it. Stupid sunroof...
