Hi there. Name is Brian and I picked up a certified 2014 Rav4 in September. Really enjoying it and enjoying "new tech" at least to me like blue tooth streaming, rear view camera, hands free options none of which are in my other cars. One thing I was wondering is if there is a way to remove the Satellite radio app from the system or disable it? Have no desire to get satellite radio and it's not active but I still have to cycle through it when using the mode button on my steering wheel control when changing between bluetooth, FM, AM, USB. Is there a way to basically make it go away?

Appreciate your time and help

Brian

Correct.
You can see 2 units bolted to each other. And a 3/3 spider harness. Simply unplug all 3 from the bottom unit.
Technically you can unplug just one. Find witch one is the power and will remove the icon.
I physically removed the whole sat unit. Useless in Alaska.

Someone may ask if some apps will stop receiving data. Like Weather App.
The data comes from HD radio, not from Satellite.
